Soft Archive began the way most good things do — quietly, and without a grand plan. Someone who has spent twenty years building businesses, drawn by a quiet eye for the understated. For objects that carry weight without shouting. For design that breathes.

Years ago, I started collecting. Not as an investor, not as a dealer — just as someone who couldn't walk past a certain chair, a particular lamp, a piece of glass that caught the light in a way that stopped me. Slowly, what filled my home began to overflow into something larger.

One day, I decided to turn that instinct into something real. Soft Archive Galerie in Rotterdam — a place that feels less like a shop and more like a living room I happen to share with you. Every object here has been chosen by hand, by instinct, and by a deep love for soft lines, quiet atmosphere, and the kind of craftsmanship that simply isn't made anymore.

This is vintage design as I believe it should be experienced — not behind glass, not on a pedestal, but close enough to touch.
